Eastern Video’s early website described a hands-on production business: developing ideas, making programmes, editing pictures and delivering the finished work. Television and corporate filmmaking sat alongside the practical business of cameras, sound and post-production.
The technology changed. Tape and DVD gave way to new ways of shooting, finishing and distributing a film. The useful part stayed the same: understanding the brief, solving the production problem and making the picture work.
That combination of filmmaking and engineering also runs through Extreme Video’s specialist-camera work and its later acquisition of Epic Studios in 2012. Read Epic’s history ↗
